Telephone support is slow and frustrating. You have to follow complicated instructions and fix your computer yourself. When I can actually see what is going on with your computer, I can assist you as if I was sitting there with you.


Here's how easy it is:

1.  

Call or email to arrange for an appointment.

2.  

Download Remote.exe and save it to your Desktop or somewhere convenient.

3.  

Double-click to run it.

4.  

You are ready to connect.
Double-click to start the connection.

5.  

You will see an icon in your system tray. The connection is now pending.

The connection is safe and secure. You can disconnect at any time.

You initiate the connection, and no one—including myself—can reconnect to your computer without your permission.


I bill in increments of 15 minutes at my regular support rate ($50/ hr).

I will email you an invoice when the session is complete.

You can pay by cash or cheque, or online using your credit card or bank account transfer.

If you find the service useful, you can pre-pay for 1 hour of support or more and receive a discount. Please enquire.

It is more time consuming to fix problems over a dial-up connection. Also, older or really slow computers can be much harder to fix. In some cases, remote assistance is not a practical solution and you will have to bring your computer into the shop. I will advise you if this is the case.

Sorry, I do not have remote support options for Apple Macintosh computers at this time.
